Blog

I woke up today a little less tired than usual. I can't believe the day I have in front of me. When did life become so hectic? I sure hope my sister does well at her new job in Raleigh. I told her to call me from the airport. Well, that's all for now...

Daily Asides: Have you noticed all the drug commercials on tv lately? The side effects are worse than the disease!?!?!

Yeah ... but they have other drugs for those side effects.

I shouldn't leave this as my latest post. It's meant to be a parody of boring blogs. I ended with the drug commercial thing because it's such a hacky and overdone premise in comedy lately.

Check out a few of my previous postings if you get the chance Peter. They're, hopfully, more lively than this one.

One of favorite side effects mentioned on a drug ad for more hair on your head is impaired sexual function more. Attention guys, NOT A FAIR TRADE. And women don't mind baldness anyway.

And what's the point of wanting more hair? To get the ladies. Oh yeah, what are you going to do with em now, Mr. pill poppin hairy man??

This is clearly out of my hands.

That's funny, I just saw your comment above my first one. Remind me not to try and read something when a toddler is distracting me.

That was a funny parody. How DID your sister do in her job interview? We all want to know!

That's cool Kelly,

I just did it on a whim. Mybe I should write something about the drug commercials. You make a funny point about baldness or impotence. Hmmmm.

But I think you're stretching it when you say that women don't mind baldness. Right? Or are just trying to make Dr. Bunsen Honeydew feel better?

Hi Peter, I always loved Dr.Bunsen Honeydew. Baldness and all. Nah, I think a woman may say she prefers a full head of hair, but deep down, we don't care! Most of our Dads were bald, and if the man we love --husband /boyfriend --loses his hair, it doesn't matter at all.

It would be funny to read something you wrote on the hair growth/impotence side effects, just because of the irony of taking something to make you more attractive and then being able to do anything about it.
