Epilogue

For several reasons, one being that I need to take it up a notch at work, I am shutting down Daydream Vaccination indefinitely. "Shutting down" isn't really accurate. You come by blogs out there that are colorful, carefully written, tons of links and comments, but the last post is two years ago--Jacko acquitted? It's kind of sad, like a haunted house. I don't want anyone to feel that way about Daydream Vaccination. This epilogue puts a cap on it, keeping evertything fresh until my triumphant come back in...2009!

I want to thank everyone for commenting and being nice to me--I'll still read all your blogs, you just wont know it. Ha.

Then again I could be making this all up and drop like four posts tomorow. Maybe I'm the Celine Dion of the Blogosphere.

Tsk tsk tsk, bad news all round. Did you ever go back down to your post on Stayin' Alive and watch the video link I put there? Because if I find out you haven't, when 2009 rolls around, you're fucked buddy!

Of course I watched it, Dale. Two thoughts: 1) The MC guy has a pretty decent flow. 2)They must have just squeeked under the radar with not having to pay for that sample. If you tried to make Paul's Boutique today it would cost a billion dollars.

Thanks Brat. I think you're brilliant, and I 'm going to stop by your blog and check in, for sure. I may even be one of your flesh and blood, ornery customers, immortalized in a blog.

Haha, you're right. Okay, so I'll watch for you on Brat's pages. Be careful, she's feisty but fair.

I find you. I bask in that new-blog glow, enjoying your posts, discovering new Peter things. I begin to look forward to a future filled with Daydream Vaccinations. And then you leave. Just like a man ...

Beth, I didn't mean it. I'm not like all those other guys, beleive me!

I've lost the balance between work and blogs and unless I want to die alone and penniless I must choose one.

I'll be back though. Promise.

Oh wow, I am very sad to read this. You were one of my absolute favorite blogs. Ever since we met on Jen is Famous (is that what it was?), I couldn't stay away.

I am so sorry to hear you are leaving us. But I understand the need for balance.

If you figure out how to do it, will you at least post that?

Sniff sniff, Lisa

I will Beth. Thanks, you're awesome.

Lisa, it WAS Jen is Famous--you remembered. Sigh. If Daydream Vaccination was The Price is Right, you would win the sky blue catamaran, the barbeque set and weeklong trip in San Diego. I think you're great and your blog is great. I'll be around.

Great. One less straight guy. My blog is now a gay night club. Thanks a LOT, Peter. Sigh.

That's not true, Helen. I distinctly remember a straight guy...no, you're right. Maybe more sports trivia?

Straight guys actually want to read your blog but end up reading your yellow "carbs" shirt over and over and over...
